Winter Wonderland

Here are a few photos of the recent snowfall in Lyon - some of the stairs to our playground. These are typical for Lyon, especially in Croix-Rousse:




And here is our incredible playground. Harper and Guthrie loved whipping down the slide and one of the hills on big pieces of cardboard that David cut up for sleds. Once we were plenty cold, we stocked up at the food market: a roasted chicken with potatoes; yellow tulips; organic bread; ham; jus de pomme; a cucumber; red onions; strawberries; haricot verre (green beans). We had quite the picnic when we came home.
