Boeuf Bourguignon
I made my very first and very simple Boeuf Bourguinon a la Anthony Bourdain (from the Les Halles Cookbook I got David for his birthday) tonight and we ate it with the wine he recommended, an absolutely divine Cote de Nuit Villages Pommard, 2006, a fresh baguette, boiled potatoes and spiral pasta. It was perfectly delicious, a huge success. I am proud. David brought lemon and apple tarts for dessert!
