Friday in Lyon - discovering beauty while lost and rambling

Set out to for the ICA - one of my favorite contemporary art spaces in France - supposedly with a current show that is great for kids, but of course, it was closed, after a long circular walk through Villeurbane, the socialist city next to Lyon (like Carrboro to Chapel Hill). We were all tired of walking but this is what we saw, did.....Harper in a dollar store bear mask. She did not want it.

                                                                strangers passing

kids on computer game as soon as we got home and took baths, washing the exhaustion away...

once again, parking blockades that i love///////would love them at the end of our chapel hill driveway - maybe i should cast them!

people put tires around the parking blockades so they don't ruin their cars....

Crazy dramatic Thursday night sky - pictures never capture skies - how could they?

Guthrie is already a proud Socialist and was thrilled to see the office for the Socialist Party in Villerbaune!
